Directorate of Dawah and Guidance (Imam)
The Department of Da’wah and Guidance was established in 1403. Its key responsibilities include organizing educational circles to enhance the religious knowledge of all academic, administrative, and service staff, as well as students of the university; providing interpretation and translation of the Holy Qur’an; eliminating wrongful acts in a wise manner and promoting virtuous practices; monitoring the promotion of good and the prevention of wrongdoing; ensuring the observance of prayers and facilitating related affairs; receiving complaints and taking necessary actions to resolve them; and implementing and supervising the decrees of His Excellency the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him).
The Department of Da’wah and Guidance also includes a Da’wah and Guidance preacher within its structure, who assists the Department in carrying out the aforementioned duties.
