Committee of Curriculum

The Curriculum Committee is responsible for the review, implementation, and evaluation of academic curricula at the university level.

Its key duties include reviewing academic curricula and identifying their strengths and weaknesses based on institutional needs. The committee also ensures the systematic updating of curricula through documented procedures and incorporates expert opinions in the process.

In addition, it assesses labor market needs to determine appropriate course content and subjects, designs and analyzes questionnaires to identify societal demands and requirements, and compares the university’s curricula with those of other higher education institutions.

Furthermore, the committee evaluates the alignment between curriculum content and teaching materials used by faculty members, including textbooks, lecture notes, slides, and other instructional resources.
